If an individual or business does not possess a human resource management, human resources information system, or other system that can be used as an applicant tracking system to control and automate the process, I would highly recommend getting one prior to using Indeed Ads (Sponsored Jobs) due to the increased ease caused by both systems working in conjunction with one another.

Indeed is the #1 place that people go to when looking for a new position. We found that when we did not have our sponsored ads running, the number of candidates for our open positions drastically decreased. In addition, we have found the Indeed candidates to be likely to be hired.

We use Sponsored Jobs to attract more candidates to our job postings. I use it daily when posting jobs on Indeed and find that sponsored jobs attract more candidates than non sponsored job posts do. Sponsored Jobs helps us alleviate some of the strain from having to constantly recruit and hire for new and previously existing positions.

We are a childcare staffing agency and use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to find candidates for our nanny and backup childcare positions. We hire throughout New England and are continuously looking for qualified candidates.

In my current position I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to help with openings that are not receiving enough applicants through the free ad. By using the Indeed Sponsored Jobs it allows our company to reach more candidates and compete with other companies looking to fill those same positions. We use also use Indeed Sponsored Jobs for positions that we are looking to fill in areas that in the past have not received a lot of attention or in general are smaller areas with fewer candidates.

  • We currently use greenhouse as our ATS. I do wish it was easier to sponsor the indeed jobs from our ATS.
In our market Dental Hygienists are extremely hard to find. We started using Indeed Sponsored Jobs for our hygienist positions and immediately received great response from quality candidates. Before we started using Indeed Sponsored Jobs for our hygiene positions we were in a drought. After using this program, we are hiring on average 2 hygienists per week.

We utilize Indeed Sponsored Jobs for both our restaurant concepts, a QSR and full-service, to source candidates for both hourly and salary management positions for the individual locations as well as support center roles. The platform has provided us with the ability to integrate with our ATS, TalentReef, and manage different campaigns at a support center level versus our store managers needing to navigate that process themselves.

  • Ability to review hiring insights for the area that we are recruiting in.
  • The biggest area for improvement that I see is the automatic job collapsing for posts that are coming from the same company, same title but different locations. A lot of our locations are hiring hourly team members and are within 10-15 miles of each other. This issue significantly reduces the number of applicants that we see and makes our lives as recruiters more difficult when we need to try and manage 75 locations across both concepts that are potentially hiring for 2-3 positions at a time.
Indeed works really well for hourly recruiting as well as management recruiting for restaurants. I have not had as many qualified candidates when posting for higher-level support center roles such as a Senior Financial Analyst or an Applications Engineer.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is used for recruiting candidates at our company. We often don't receive as many applicants as we would like, and the sponsored job ads help with this issue. We use this tool to also invite applicants who maybe haven't applied yet. This allows us to create a larger pool of candidates to choose from in our hiring process.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs helps me control and scale applicant flow with ease, allowing me to focus more on hard to fill markets and/or positions. Proper sponsorship campaigns, coupled with an employees engagement strategy, has allowed me to significantly reduce/all but eliminate our need to use staffing firms to supply temporary workers, as well as reduced the need for employee headhunting services to locate management level positions.

  • More foundational employee training - some Indeed workers are much more knowledgeable than others.
I would recommend Indeed Sponsorship to anyone who is interested in increasing their applicant pipeline and/or decreasing staffing agency spending. I would suggest that to maximize value, organizations need to also focus on their worker satisfaction through employee engagement & a proactive communication strategy.

We have multiple needs in 26 states, over 180+ locations, we need to ensure we have the flow needed to attract and hire the right candidate. Using the sponsored jobs feature has allowed us to be competitive in our markets, and thus far has been a very useful tool for us.
  • Increases Times when YOUR jobs are visible
  • Ensures that you will have solid views of your job
  • Provides the resumes match feature when you are working fast, this is pretty quick to use and invites people to look at your opening.
  • I'd like a refresh button to "re-post" the job and not have 5 steps to close it, and then re-open it.
  • I wish the resume search feature was better set up for searching key terms, it at times doesn't show what we are searching for.
  • With the number of people who consistently apply, I wish they would be flagged and easier to see the notes on what we had on the prior. Currently, we have to click on individual job posts to see what notes we have on them. That at times slows us down.
I'd like more control of the overall account budget. While I know we could change our setup and price each opening accordingly, there are times within our end of the month when the budget isn't 100% met, where it gets used on positions that may not need it. I'd like a priority button that we could turn on to ensure "more" spending occurs on certain higher-needed areas. that we can turn off once we have met what we need...etc.

I'm the recruiter for GulfSouth Autism Center we have 5 clinics around the Louisiana area. Our business is one that we continue to hire on a daily basis, simply because we hire students out of college with a bachelor's in psychology, communication disorders, speech pathologist, education, social work, counseling, and sociology. I have about 200 to 250 students that are continually moving through. They usually work about one year with us until they finish their master's. Indeed Sponsored Jobs has helped me recruit when I need a few, when I need them ASAP and when I need thirty. Is nice to be able to post a job today and start getting responses sometimes the same day or the next day. I use this 24/7 to find the most qualified candidates. There are features that I don't use, like setting up appointments through the platform, I need results immediately, I call or text the candidates. My market is 20-25 age group.
  • Immediate response, that's what I need. I post the job, there is no waiting one day or two hours to respond to the candidates.
  • Gives me better visibility, better ability to choose different candidates, I've tried sponsored jobs with deal-breakers and non-deal-breakers. Sometimes is best not to have a deal-breaker for certain jobs because I might pass on a candidate I wouldn't have thought to maybe take a look at.
  • I've also used the instant match, I'm starting to get better at qualifying those candidates and I had a few applicants from that.
  • I would like to keep the candidates that I'm working on the same list, next to them I would like to write short notes. Like 2nd interview on March 28 at 9:00. or waiting for review. I know there is probably a place I can write that flipping from page to page but I would like to have it where I can see the candidates I'm working for until they're hired. Once they're hired I would be interested in keeping a list of them on the same page, where I can get an idea of how many I've hired that month.
  • I currently do that in a spreadsheet with our 5 clinics, but it would be nice to have that on Indeed. All in the same place.
Finding candidates with a high school education the jobs don't need to be sponsored. Whereas the hard positions to fill they would need ore visibility.

We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to help us get the best quality candidates possible. This has helped us hire many applicants with the several job advertisements we post. The business problem the product addresses is getting instant matches to the relevant position to help make hiring a quick and easy process.
  • Assessments - A better pool of candidates because it differentiates between candidates that don't fill out the assessments and candidates that do.
  • Instant Match - We use this quite frequently and can invite matched candidates to apply for our job post.
  • Screener Questions - Anyone who does not meet our deal-breaker questions will be rejected, which helps us if we have a lot of candidates to review.
  • Job Status - Pause, Close, Open - It would be helpful to see a date on when it was paused or closed that way if we need to reopen we know how long it has been since we filled that position.
Indeed Sponsored Jobs is well suited in the areas of allowing us to match with certain candidates that have the qualifications we are looking for and rejecting candidates that don't meet our qualifications.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs helped open our positions to a new audience. I began seeing new candidates and it was very easy to show my needs at a geographic level. I also got great ideas from the team at Indeed on how to structure my job posting to make it attractive to candidates. I appreciate their ideas and suggestions from real experts!

I use it to post jobs in OR and WA states. We are growing and serving the community for mental health needs in those areas. We have a constant hiring need so it's an ongoing search for quality candidates.

We use Indeed Sponsored ads to stand out from the competition and ensure our ad gets in front of more faces. In a very competitive job market, it can be difficult to gain traction with your hiring goals. This is another tool in our arsenal to find the right candidates.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is one of the most useful tools my company uses in order to fill our pipelines! I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs at my current position in order to boost the applicant flow on our job posts. My company utilizes an ATS that then filters our ads out to Indeed. Through my Indeed representatives, I am then able to request sponsorship on each ad. Indeed Sponsored Jobs allows us to bring more attention to high-priority jobs, which then results in more candidates in our pipeline. Adding, removing, increasing, and decreasing sponsorship has been made into an efficient process so I may focus on other more pressing issues throughout my day. On average, we have about 15 jobs sponsored on Indeed at any given time.

  • A platform to streamline the process in which to add, remove, increase, and decrease the sponsorship so a company can go in and adjust on their own instead of contacting their rep.

When I have numerous openings in a specific department or I need a manager position filled quickly ... I sponsor the job. Sponsoring the job greatly increases the visibility of my ad. More applicants see the ad, so I receive more resumes. I find that I can fill a position faster, with higher quality applicants when I sponsor a job.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is our main source for bringing in talent. It's been helpful to be able to use their resume searches and invite options as well to find better-qualified candidates. Right now it is hard to find qualified candidates for nearly all types of positions.

In some positions, it is not a suitable option and you have to be more creative. It's great for more competitive jobs and it gives you all the opportunities necessary to be able to see what the competition is doing and what you can do to find qualified candidates.

  • Transparency into cost per applicant and campaign is unique compared to our LinkedIn campaigns where I can only track conversions.
  • Ideally, our reviews from Glassdoor would be integrated into the Indeed platform.

We are getting better-qualified candidates at a more junior level (1-3 yrs experience) opposed to our campaigns at the consultant (3-5 yrs) level.
